@qwertney in defense of triplebarrel; while i do agree on everything said you completely overlooked her POV and how it made her feel.
due to save as her song got quite popular, which means a lot of people would want to keep supporting her music afterwards. logically, she would want all of her music to sound the best she could and she didn't quite like how TNE sounded and how it reflected her skills as a musician. because of all the pressure she got from the song getting popular she made lots of controversial (or sometimes rather poor) decisions in the heat of the moment and although her song was liked amongst the community she still could've felt constantly stressed about being judged or even just widely discovered in the first place.
for most underground artists, especially young ones music is not a job but a hobby, hence it's the most important on how we feel about our music being out, discovered, judged, loved, hated etc.
she made the decision to delete the song and from what i know she does not ever want to re-publish it or even talk about it at all. it makes her uncomfortable and fans should understand that (yes she could've made it more clear but she is young just like some of her fans after all). i was a big fan of the song & level as well but perhaps it would be better if you deleted your message not to stress her out further and let her move on with her career on whatever path she feels comfortable on and again - i do agree with what you said and i do understand it's constructive criticism, but in my eyes it's very much unnecessary and perhaps doing more harm than good. think about it more empathetically.

Hey, I just read your response. I just now have a few things to say:
First, thanks for giving the context. Now that I know that the removal of the song was a mutual decision between you and PAHC, and that PAHC also wished he never made the song/level, I can live with that now. To me, Save As and TNE are still very great and have a legacy. But if you don't like their own work, you just don't. You have a right to delete your work if you don't like it.
Second off, when I read your recent post at the time, I wasn't thinking you were trolling those that were being whiny about old TNE being gone, I was thinking you were trolling those who genuinely liked the song (and your other work) and was wondering why it was removed. That was why I was so bitter in my comment, and why I felt that you burned my bridge at the time. That leads to my last point.
Lastly, I am very sorry for my comment and how I acted. I made that comment a year ago and reading it now, I said "damn, what was going on in March '22 time and why was I so angry?" I'm taking the L, because that was really rude of me. You did not burn my bridge (er, rather, I want to rebuild it at least).
Also, I'm glad things are going well for, both here (and wherever you publish music) and IRL in college.
Once again, I apologize for my rude comment. I hope you achieve success and I wish you well.

Please tell me the logic of this. Why would you delete the song that people loved and was *intended* for Save As, then get mad/irritated at people or become a troll when people want the song back on newgrounds/youtube? That's like with YouTube deleting the dislike count (something mostly every YouTuber liked) and then having YouTube getting defensive over why the dislike count was removed.
I just don't get it. People loved the song, you saw all of the comments on The Noise Experiment when the song was first posted. It wasn't all about Save As, they mentioned and analyzed the song and how it really gave a dark atmosphere based on alzheimers. And they were supporting you and thanking you (geometry dash players and well, others alike). You've also probably seen people upload the song and love the song there as well. I just don't know how or why you would delete a song from newgrounds that everyone likes just because "it's shit". Now, the song gone from newgrounds, it seems that the theme and meaning of the level, Save As, is gone too.
Lastly, I don't get why you're "fucking with people that want TNE". That's honestly just really immature and made me lose respect for you. Are you like trying to burn bridges for no reason? Colbreakz stopped allowing songs after "You & Me" in Geometry Dash, but did he troll people or did he delete every song he made off of newgrounds? No, of course not, he also ended things in a respectful & civil way. He didn't burn bridges like you did. If you really wanted to move on, you could have just deleted everything on your account (saving your songs of course) and moved on (or create a clean slate because it's pretty much anonymous). You could have ended things with respect, but you ending things with immaturity.
If you just comment "LOL", "seethe ", "cope", "L" or whatever dismissive message, after seeing this, you're only proving my point.
However, even though you pretty much burned my bridge, I do wish you good luck in the future with songs and success.

Damn, you created an account just for this. I suppose it'd be rude to leave you hanging while I was on my way to get milk. I'm back now!
I was indeed asked by PAHC to make The Noise Experiment. As we were already on good terms, I agreed to assist him with his level by producing the track. I guess I could've made it later, but with my then musical skills, I'd probably still have trashed it since I was getting better quite fast around the time SAVE AS exploded in popularity. We were praised, but the both of us wish we never made the level & track in the first place - ask PAHC if you doubt me. He said he hopes that another level of his will eclipse it in popularity.
I asked him if I could delete the original track, too. iirc he slightly hesitated at first, but then agreed. The only opinions which matter about my song removal are mine and PAHC's, since we were the only two which contributed to the full project. I, in fact, removed it with his permission because the goodwill ran dry and I found it shit compared to my later tracks.
Keep in mind that the removal was after Juniper raised charity for Alzheimer's. Again, massive props to her and her fans for raising that in the first place, but after that? All goodwill of the project dried up, and with over $1,500 raised, there wasn't really much to be salvaged other than gdtwt probably arguing about the level itself mixed in with them death threatening each other. Sucks for them, I guess.
I was fucking with people who wanted the old TNE back, because pretty much all of them could be generalized as whiny. I did that for the fun. The only bridges burnt were the ones who wanted the old TNE back, which turns out, I'm still friends with the people I care about. Doesn't seem like any bridges burnt to me.
About the good luck and all, I actually have a great chance of doing music at college! I think I'll mostly be there for production and mixing, probably feedback and some live-oriented stuff too. Guess I'll find out when I go there, but it's still several months away. I'm quite happy with the likeliness that this could be my way of living. I don't know what else to say so uhh
